Explosion Box

This is the explosion box we made at last night's Stamp Club.  Gina demonstrated for us how to make these little cuties.
Box closed ...

And BAM!  Explosion box open!  :)
On each side you could put photos, mementos, journaling notes, anything.
It's a little scrapbook in a box. Love, love, love it!

Downline meeting swaps

Good evening everyone!  I just got back from our downline meeting.  We talked, ate, and SWAPPED!  What a blast.  Thanks to Denise Sullivan for getting us all together.
Here are the swaps I made ...

I used the Googly Ghouls stamp set (128063) with the Googlies eyes (127539) and made them into what I call bobbly-gigs.  I made a "spring" with 24-guage wire wrapped around a pen and attached them to the cut out "monsters" so when you give them a flick, they bobble.  So cute!  :)

I will post pics of the swaps I received as soon as I can.  I got some REALLY cute ones.  And we had a make and take which is adorable, too.  More to come ...

Cards from today's Stamp-A-Stack using the
Embellished Events stamp set
(126497 in the 2012-2013 Annual Catalog).

This one is on Basic Grey cardstock (121044) with Patio Party Designer Series Paper (126916), Primrose Petals 3/8" Stitched Satin ribbon (126844), Whisper White cardstock (100730),  Gumball Green ink (126861), In-Color Dahlias (127556), Linen Thread (104199), Window Sheets (114323) punched with the Ornament Punch (119847) and Raspberry Ripple ink (126859) for the sentiment.  The punched Window sheet is sponged on the edges with black Staz-On  ink (101406).

This one is Basic Black cardstock (121045).  The sentiment is stamped in black Staz-On ink (101406) on So Saffron cardstock (105118) and cut out with the Bitty Banners Framelits (129267).  The champagne flutes were colored using the So Saffron and Basic Black Stampin' Write makers, cut out, and embellished with Rhinestone Basic Jewels (119246).  The outlined score lines I did on the Simply Scored tool (122334).

This card was inspired by a video I saw from Dawn Olchefske on doing the gingham pattern with ink and a brayer onto the Stripes embossing folder.  Check out her blog at dostamping.typepad.com.
She is fantastic!
The card is Whisper White cardstock with Certainly Celery cardstock (105125).  The 2 3/8" Scallop Circle (118874) is Bashful Blue cardstock (105120).  The ribbon is 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain ribbon in Daffodil Delight (126872).  The sentiment is stamped in Certainly Celery ink (126958).  The wagon "wheels" are the Vintage Trinkets (118764) and stamped in Crumb Cake ink (126975).  The rubber ducky is stamped in Daffodil Delight ink (126944) and his beak is Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write marker.

This is a card I straight CASE'd from Mary Fish.  Check out her blog at stampinpretty.com.  She has awesome artwork and when I saw this card, I just knew I wanted to share it with everyone!
This is Whisper White cardstock with Floral District Designer Series Paper (126919) and Tangerine Tango cardstock (111349) and Lucky Limeade cardstock (122926).  The cake was colored using the Tangerine Tango and Lucky Limeade Stampin' Write markers and embellished with Pearl Basic Jewels (119247).

And finally, the Christmas card.  This card is Old Olive cardstock (100702) with Whisper White cardstock, the Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper (126902) and Real Red cardstock (102482) cut with the Floral Frames Framelits (127012).  The Santa hat is stamped in Real Red ink (126949) with an Old Olive flower punched with the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (118309) and a Brights Brad in Real Red (119740).  The ribbon is 1/4" Stictched ribbon in Real Red (126875) with a Designer Ribbon Slide (127834).  The sentiment is stamped in Old Olive ink (126953).

We made two of each of these designs, with envelopes, and it was a blast!  Be sure and look for my upcoming Christmas Card Stamp-A-Stack!  Thanks for stopping by!

Halloween Framable

My Digital Studio Toxic Framable Digital Designer Template (128139) from the Holiday mini.  Just printed it out on presentation paper, got a frame from the store, and viola, Halloween decoration!  Couldn't be easier than that!  And the cool thing is all of the words and images can be cut and pasted as separate "digital stamps" to make other creations.  :)

"Thank You"

This is an idea I got from a corporate sample on my Stampin' Up! website, www.ready4stampin.stampinup.net.  It's what I made to include in my customer orders from our Stamp Club last Tuesday.  I really appreciate my club members and want to show my appreciation every chance I can.  Thanks ladies!!

I Am Inspired project

This is the pinboard we made at Donna Griffith's "I Am Inspired" class.  It's a perpetual calendar and the little stickpins with the flowers and butterflies can be used to hold notes or photos or anything else for that month.  Isn't it cute?  You could change out the fabric and the embellishments, too, and give it a whole nother look.  Clever.

The fabric used is the Essentials Designer Fabric, #126892.  This fabric color used is Daffodil Delight and in the box is also another print in Daffodil Delight and two prints of each color:  Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Old Olive, and Marina Mist.  You get lots of fabric.
Cardstock colors used in this project are Midnight Muse, First Edition DSP, Primrose Petals, More Mustard, and Daffodil Delight.
The perpetual calendar pages can be made using My Digital Studio (MDS) or the new My Digital Studio 2 (MDS2).
